Facility

The Capital Region Aquatic Center will be the premier facility of its kind in the Northeast. It will be an economic generator bringing thousands of visitors from all over the country to the Capital Region each year. This state-of-the-art facility will provide swimming instruction for all ages, offer aquatic therapy and exercise, and serve as a host for local, regional, and national aquatic competitions. The Aquatic Center will save lives through Learn-to-Swim programs, increase the health of the population in our region, and draw over 100,000 athletes and spectators each year. The overall economic impact of the Aquatic Center is estimated to be tens of millions of dollars annually.

• Competition Pool: 50m x 25yd
• Instruction Pool: 8 lanes
• Diving Well: 25yd x 25yd
• Therapy Pool: 15’ x 20’
